Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Sampah (PLTSa) Putri Cempo di Solo, Jawa Tengah, bisa menjadi solusi bagi permasalahan sampah di Solo, dengan kemampuan pengolahan sampah ratusan ton perhari.<\/strong><\/p>\n

PLTSa Putri Cempo resmi beroperasi setelah mendapatkan Sertifikat Laik Operasi (SLO), pada Senin (30\/10).<\/p>\n

PLTSa Putri Cempo Solo yang merupakan program strategis nasional (PSN) ini, akan menghasilkan energi listrik berbasis sampah sebesar 8 MegaWatt (MW) sekali produksi dengan kapasitas pengolahan sampah mentah sebanyak 545 ton setiap hari.<\/p>\n

Jumlah tersebut, jauh lebih banyak dari produksi sampah Kota Solo yang hanya di kisaran 300-350 ton per hari.<\/p>\n

Nantinya, kekurangan sampah tersebut akan dipenuhi dengan mengimpor sampah dari kabupaten di sekitar Solo.<\/p>\n

Tidak hanya menyelesaikan masalah sampah di Solo, tetapi PLTSa Putri Cempo juga memberikan solusi bagi tantangan serupa di daerah lain di Indonesia.<\/p>\n

Melalui energi listrik yang dihasilkan, PLTSa Solo memberikan kontribusi positif terhadap keberlanjutan lingkungan dan kemandirian energi kota Solo.<\/p>\n

Gunungan sampah TPA Putri Cempo yang sebelumnya menjadi masalah lingkungan, diproyeksikan akan habis dalam 5-7 tahun ke depan karena akan menjadi bahan baku PLTSa.<\/p>\n

Ke depannya kerja sama pengelolaan sampah akan diperluas ke wilayah Solo Raya melalui program mendatangkan sampah dari luar daerah, atau disebut Gemah Lurah.<\/p>\n

Melalui program Gemah Lurah, sampah dari luar daerah akan didatangkan, sehingga PLTSa Putri Cempo dapat menjadi solusi permasalahan sampah bagi kota-kota di sekitar Solo.<\/p>\n

Program itu pun didukung oleh aplikasi monitoring online<\/em>, Sibu Sari, yang telah dikembangkan Dinas Lingkungan Hidup Kota Solo.<\/p>\n
